1. Booking and Reservations
Local Åland Tours: Bookings for standard tours within the Åland Islands are subject to availability. A booking is only confirmed once full payment or the required deposit has been received and a confirmation email is issued by our team.
Custom Global Journeys: For bespoke itineraries outside the Åland Islands, the initial consultation and itinerary design are provided as outlined during your inquiry. A formal travel contract and specific payment schedule will be issued once the custom itinerary is approved by you.
Client Details: You are responsible for ensuring that all personal details provided during the booking process (including names as they appear on passports, dates of birth, and contact information) are accurate.
2. Pricing and Payments
All prices are quoted in Euros (€) unless otherwise specified.
Prices for Custom Global Journeys are subject to change until the final booking is confirmed and the deposit is paid, due to fluctuating exchange rates, third-party supplier costs, or airfare variations.
Bikini Tours reserves the right to amend the price of unsold tours at any time.
3. Cancellations and Modifications by the Traveler
Standard Cancellation Policy: Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to our support team. The specific cancellation fees and refund eligibility depend on the nature of the tour and will be detailed in your individual booking confirmation.
Custom Itineraries: Due to the bespoke nature of Custom Global Journeys, deposits are often non-refundable as they secure services with global third-party vendors.
Modifications: If you wish to change your travel dates or itinerary after confirmation, we will make every effort to accommodate the request, subject to availability and any applicable amendment fees charged by our suppliers.
4. Cancellations and Modifications by Bikini Tours
We reserve the right to cancel or significantly alter a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to severe weather conditions, force majeure, or failure to meet minimum participant requirements for group tours.
In the event of a cancellation on our part, you will be offered a full refund of the amount paid to us or the option to rebook an alternative tour of equal value. We are not liable for incidental expenses incurred, such as non-refundable flights purchased independently.
5. Traveler Responsibilities
Travel Documents: It is entirely your responsibility to ensure you carry a valid passport, necessary visas, and any required health or vaccination certificates for your chosen destination.
Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellations, medical emergencies, lost baggage, and personal liability prior to departure.
Health and Fitness: You must ensure you are physically fit to participate in your chosen tour. Certain adventure activities in the Åland Islands or abroad may require a minimum level of mobility.
6. Limitation of Liability
Bikini Tours acts as an agent for third-party suppliers (e.g., hotels, transportation companies, local guides) when organizing Custom Global Journeys. We are not liable for any personal injury, property damage, loss, delay, or inconvenience caused by the actions, defaults, or negligence of these independent suppliers.
For our directly operated tours within the Åland Islands, our liability is strictly limited to the cost of the booked tour.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Bikini Tours or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our materials for commercial purposes without explicit written consent.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Because Bikini Tours is headquartered in the Åland Islands, these Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland and the autonomous region of Åland. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or your booking shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Åland Islands.
